CBSE CTET Notification 2016

The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the examination notification of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for the period of 2016. CBSE has invited application for CTET 2016 examination. Eligible Candidates may apply online for CTET before 31st October 2016. Candidates can apply only online for CTET- FEB2016.

Important Dates:

Candidates can apply online Application from 16-10-2016 to 31-10-2103.

Last date for online submission applications: 31-oct-2016.

Exam Dates & Timing: Exam date Paper Timing 16-02-2016 Paper II (Class VI to VIII) 9:30am to 12:00pm 16-02-2016 Paper I (Class I to V) 02:00 pm to 04:30 pm

Eligibility Criteria:

For Class I to V at Primary Stage Teachers: Candidates should passes the qualification of Intermediate with minimum 50% marks as well as 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education.

For Class VI to VIII at Elementary Stage Teachers: Candidates Should passes the qualification of Graduation degree as well as 2 years diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. Graduation or Final year Candidates may also apply.

Examination Fees for CTET-Feb 2016:

For primary level Teachers: General and OBC category (Paper I or II) Students need to pay Rupees 500/- while SC/ST/PWD and other reserved Category Students will have to only rupees 250/-.

For Elementary Stage Teachers: General and OBC category (Paper I or II) Candidates need to pay rupees 800/- while SC/ST/PWD and other reserved Category Students will have to only rupees 400/-. 

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected for Teachers post based on their marks obtained in written examination of CTET 2016.

How to apply For CTET: - Eligible and Interested candidates who wish to apply for CTET 2016 are required to fill online application form from the Official website of CTET. After filling online application takes the print out of CTET application confirmation pages generated by system and send it along with relevant documents to the address of CTET.
