Directorate of School Education of Pondicherry has given a notification of a 171 posts of primary school teachers for the academic year of 2016. Vacancies are as follows: -

         Pondicherry and Karaikal: 150

         Mahe: 10

         Yanam: 11

Candidates submit their online form on or before 04-10-2016.

Eligibility

Eligible candidates must be holding Diploma in Technical Education or Certificate of basic teacher training from a government recognized institute and also must be have a teaching experience at least 2 years. Age limit of candidates must be not less than 18 years but not more than 30 years.

Selection Process

The institute is conducting a written test. In written test there must be 100 questions in which 85 % shall be for marks obtained in qualifying examinations and 15% for Employment Exchange seniority. The 85% marks shall be calculated based on the weighted average of marks obtained by the candidates in Higher Secondary and Diploma in Teacher Education. Selection will be done on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in the written test.
